- Monroe County Juvenile Court Referee for six years, presiding
over all delinquency, child
- neglect, paternity, guardianship and mental health commitment
trials
- Director of the Child Advocacy Clinic of the Indiana University
School of Law to train law
students to advocate for the best interest of high-risk children
in the courtroom
- Represented children in the courtroom, trained CASA attorneys
- Past member of the Juvenile Benchbook Committee of the Indiana
Judicial Center
- Coordinated the Indiana Family Court Project in 22 counties,
including Monroe, to be more
effective and efficient in serving children and families in our
